Pastor, Dr. Aaron P. Veach
Dr. Aaron Veach began his ministry at Hope Christian Church in April 2000. He has also served churches elsewhere in Oregon, as well as in Texas and Tennessee. His leadership style is to train and equip others to enjoy aspects of service for which God has gifted them.
He is a graduate of Northwest Christian College in Eugene, OR and of Emmanuel School of Religion in Johnson City Tennessee. He holds an earned Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasedena, CA.
He married Lisa Hausotter Veach in 1974 and they have two grown sons. Jason and his wife Fawn live in Portland with their two daughters Ashlie and Lizzie. David lives in Medford and is the drummer on the worship team at Hope.
Pastor Aaron's hobbies include fishing, hunting, camping, and backpacking.
Worship Leader, Lisa Veach
Lisa Veach assumed responsibilities as Worship Leader in 2003. Her responsibilities include the coordinating of all the worship services. In that capacity, she selects all the worship music, directs the adult choir and the worship team, coordinates adult and children’s musicals, and works with youth when they lead in worship. She has served churches in similar capacities elsewhere in Oregon, as well as Texas and Tennessee. Her heart’s desire is that during the worship services, people will be brought into the very presence of God, and that He will touch their lives in ways no one else can.
Lisa has been married to Aaron since 1974. Together they raised two sons and are now enjoying their grown family, including two granddaughters.
Her first love is the Lord. In addition to her love of music, she also enjoys tending her flower beds and reading.
