Our Missions
Hope Christian Church is actively involved in supporting Missions around the world. 10% of all offerings that are received in the General Fund go to Missions in addition to any designated offerings that are received.
The following Missions are sent funds every month:
Christian's Haven, Philippines
Christian Children's Ranch, Fairfield, Idaho
East Africa Christian Mission, Kenya, Africa
International Disaster Emergency Services, Indiana
Sudan African Mission, Sudan, Africa

How it Works?
Our mission board consists of
five church members. We hold meetings every six weeks.
Approximately once a month,
from September through May, the Missions Board hosts a luncheon fundraiser that focuses on one of the eight
missions we support. There are also informative skits, short videos,
or guest speakers presented during the morning worship service that correspond with the luncheons.
We encourage everyone to stay up to date with our missions by reading the posted newsletter, hanging on the south wall of the sanctuary. Once or twice a year, the church holds a Missions Sunday (next one is September 29, 2013) to celebrate the missions that are supported and to draw attention to their needs.

The Missions Board also works closely with other churches to host the
Northwest Schools of Mission every fall. This year the tour for the Southern Oregon
area was September 22 - 27, 2013.
