This year Hope celebrated it's First Annual Women's Christmas Tea. It was a huge success with 10 sponsored tables, entertainment, the reading of a story,
raffles, and lots of fellowship.
Every year Hope hosts a Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner. We also extend an open
invitation to the community to join us. Every year we have a great time of food and fellowship. This year was no
exception.
Many Christians choose not to observe Halloween. As one of the most popular holidays
in our culture—for some more celebrated than Christmas—it can present a challenge for Christian families,
especially when children are involved. Instead of focusing on the negative aspects of Halloween, Hope has turned the
holiday into a positive, relationship-building tradition for families by hosting a Harvest Carnival where family fun
is the order of the day. Kids enjoy games where everyone is a winner and parents can relax, knowing their children are safe.
To mark and celebrate our Fall Kick-off, Hope hosted a potluck picnic. Dogs and burgers
barbequed
to perfection, baked beans, chips, drinks, watermelon, and desserts. What could be better? Well how about some impromptu singing,
games, and a lot of fun.
